The A9 Mini Camera is the smallest camera in this range, built for people who want a second angle on a room without adding another bulky device to it. It streams HD video over Wi-Fi to your phone, so you can look in on a home office, a hallway or a garage from wherever you are. The body is finished in black and sits comfortably on a shelf, a desk or a bookcase edge.

Setup runs through the companion app: connect the camera to your 2.4GHz network, name it, and the live view is available from there. Motion detection sends an alert when something changes in frame, which is more useful than scrubbing footage later. Night vision keeps the picture usable once the lights are off, and footage can be recorded to a micro SD card fitted to the camera so the recording survives an internet outage. Because the camera is small, placement does most of the work, so give it a clear line of sight across the space rather than tucking it behind objects that will block the lens.

The camera is supplied without a power adapter, so plan on using a spare USB adapter you already have. Keep it plugged in for continuous monitoring rather than relying on short battery runs.
