For the spots a cable can't reach: a gate post, a fence, the side of the garage. It's solar powered, with a floodlight that brings color to night footage.

Night footage is usually black and white. This camera has its own 600 lumen floodlight, so when it detects motion the light comes on and it records in color. Clothing, vehicles and faces are far easier to identify, with useful detail out to about 8 yds. Anyone approaching knows they've been seen, and a 90 dB siren can sound alongside. Prefer black and white infrared? Switch modes and the light stays in reserve.

A solar panel and rechargeable battery mean no socket is needed. Give the panel several hours of direct sun a day (runtimes are shorter through a dull winter), and set the detection zone to your own ground so the battery isn't spent on passing traffic. Live view, playback and alert settings are in the ANRAN app.

It is well explained; in a video I have seen, I have verified that it is easy to install on a wall or any other support. It comes with a template, but the base of the template can be unscrewed and installed; once the support is in place and the camera is configured, it can be screwed onto its base.

The camera is perfect for the use I wanted to give it. It is fixed, it cannot be moved through the application, so you have to find a position from where you can control what needs to be seen. Being placed in a location where it receives sunlight more or less well, thanks to its solar panel it will always be at 100% battery, so it does not need to be connected to the electricity, allowing it to be placed anywhere in the house where the Wi-Fi network reaches. In case of not receiving sunlight, it can also be used by charging its battery, but of course it would have to be done with a battery if you don't want to remove it from its location. It can be used with an SD card and with the cloud subscription; if there is no risk of it being stolen, it can be used with a card without any problem.
